A CQU researcher demystifies one of our most misunderstood animals in his new book

A CQUniversity (CQU) researcher interrogates the myths surrounding one of Australia’s most misunderstood native animals – the dingo – in his new book The Dingo Debate: Origins, Behaviour and Conservation.

The author, Dr Bradley Smith, from CQU, who is also Director of the Australian Dingo Foundation, explains why no other Australian animal elicits strong emotions of fear and hatred in humans as the dingo seems to do. Dr Smith challenges these myths and endorses dingoes as a highly-intelligent, adaptable species that plays a significant role in Australia’s ecosystems

Dr. Smith’s released his book through CSIRO Publishing.
